The Client:
The client is a reputable wholesale fund manager with a solid growth strategy focussed on the retail sector.
The Role:
This role is focussed on the long term investment managem ent of a premium portfolio of assets. The primary responsibility of the role is to oversee the operation and preservation of assigned assets in line with set hurdle rates. Key responsibilities of the role include but are not restricted to:
Essential to this role is an understanding of investment strategy and the ability to define and deliver this strategy accordingly. It requires the ability to maintain the daily operation of retail assets whilst identifying and managing value add activity especially in the redevelopment field. This role will require strength in communication able to manage internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner and to operate efficiently in a remote office. Previous experience in asset management overseeing a a retail/shopping mall portfolio ideally in a funds management environment is preferable.

- Sector planning and process improvement
- Interaction with internal Investment Committee
- Strategic Property Investment Planning and Implementation
- Portfolio Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting
- Management of DCF and tax related compliance issues
- Transaction Management
- Identification of Acquisition & Development Opportunity
- Oversight of development activity
- Client Relationship Management
