About The Centre:

This well established long day care centre is located on the beautiful Eastern Suburbs close to funky cafes, popular shops and the beautiful Bondi beach.

The centre caters for up to 77 children per day with a team of qualified and experienced staff. There are 3 rooms in the centre.

About The Role:

This position is a full time, non-teaching role.

You will be responsible for:

Staff management and ratios; parent communication; overseeing and guiding the program; maintaining centre policies and procedures; accreditation; documentation and reporting; enrolments and orientation; as well as OH&S.

Working hours (38 hours per week) are flexible around the needs of the service.

Communication with families is an essential part of this role so the successful candidate will be a confident and articulate communicator who is experienced dealing with professional families.

Criteria:

To be successful in this role you will:

• Hold a completed Early Childhood Teaching degree
• Meet nominated supervisor requirements
• Have experience in a similar role
• Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Have a strong understanding of QIAS, NQF and EYLF
• Have a professional, positive attitude to work
• Be looking to commit to a role long term
